Shorts Review: Abuelo Com Episode 5
Spoilers Below
This episode is where the mini series reaches its peak. Abuelo Com confronts his rivals via internet in a calm (in-and-out-of-conciseness) manner; but once he is threatened, he remembers what Pablo told him when he wasn’t so old: “if you believe in all of the internets they will be as real as you”. Abuelo then gains the courage to fight off his villains with a magical internet sword that zips him into the world of internet and converts him into a young super hero with a finale theme song, which makes it seem like the end of the series, but I hope not.
This episode takes on a randomness similar to that of Personas Cataceas, yet not to the point at which it hardly makes sense. I enjoyed the reference to Nyan Cat, the silly theme song, and especially the ongoing joke about Abuelo dying. All in all, I would probably recommend the mini series of Abuelo Com first out of all that has come from the talented Marmota so far.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
