SupaNatural and Dark Minions are NOT going to series with Amazon
Details after the jump!
Well, it looks as though Amazon has officially passed on animated comedy geared towards adults for the time being as according to a new report coming from Reuters.com, neither Dark Minions nor Supanatural made the cut in Amazon’s recent announcement of pickups which featured mostly live-action comedy and kid stuff. Evidently, Amazon has chosen these shows from listening to viewer feedback comments and as a result that’s how they decided what stays and what goes. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if cost had something to do with it because making a stop-mo show like Dark Minions is expensive, but I am rather surprised that Supanatural didn’t make the cut. The latter series was hysterical,well-written with a lot of fun characters, and as such I think should be shopped to other networks.
In any case, Amazon isn’t completely done with hearing animated pitches, as we reported on a Sassy Gay Samurai series that was supposedly in the works so maybe there is hope. Check out our reviews of Supanatural and Dark Minions.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
