@IFCOutThere creator’s idea for a spinoff??
Id’ watch it!
Recently, TVguide.com did a ‘Watch My Show” feature with Out There creator Ryan Quincy and in it they asked him to come up with a premise for a spin-off of the popular animated series from IFC:
It would follow Terry Rosachristas (Fred Armisen) during his teenage years growing up in his mysterious, unnamed South American country where there are pyramids, pterodactyls and cockroaches the size of your head.
I know Ryan is probably kidding, but I would TOTALLY watch this. Not sure what it would look like, but I’m certainly sold. I do think that Ryan has a really bright future and would NOT be surprised if more animated television shows come out with his name on it. He’s already a former producer of South Park and Out There is right now ranking as our best new animated series of 2013, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he had other ideas. In the meantime there are a couple more episodes of Out There left until the finale on April 19th with guest stars like Nick Offerman, Ellen Page, and Sarah Silverman on the way.
Out There is all new this Friday Night @ 10pm EST on IFC, check your local listings! Check out our interview with Ryan here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
