Spoilers Below

Who the Bartman??

All the kids at school have colorful renditions of who Bartman is. Nelson thinks its his dad with claws, the twins think the hero is a dreamy teen model, and Ralph thinks that Bartman is a piece of ravioli. But, when Bart tries to show everyone who the REAL Bartman is, no one believes him!

The Todd and Rodyssey

Todd and Rod get separated from Ned while shopping downtown. During their journey they run into the Captain who scares the hell out of them, sending the boys down the sewer where they run into a cosplaying Frink and Comic Book Guy. After the brief encounter, the boys happen to come across Hans whom offers them a lift up the sewer and back above ground. Once on normal landscape, the boys hear Homer’s loud boisterous voice and they pretty much just follow that all the way home.

Maggie’s Pancakes

Soooo what goes through Maggie’s mind when she is served the wonderful breakfast entree known as pancakes?? Well, in short its sort like an acid trip and to be honest I’m more or less in the same boat when I think of pancakes. As a matter of fact, I’m probably going to head to IHOP tonight for dinner.

Yea, its not all Bart stories, but I thought the collection of stories was a nice varied mix. I LOVE Bartman stuff, and even though the kick off story wasn’t typical Bartman, the plot had a rather nice twist near the end. I also rather liked everyone’s take on what Bartman looked like especially Ralph’s perfect example. We NEVER get Rod and Todd stories, and this one was a lot of fun and I think whats cool about the Flanders’ plots not involving Homer is that you can get away with having heart-warming endings. When you end a Simpsons story it might be a bit tougher because we are always expecting that one last jab from either Bart or Homer. Lastly, Maggie’s Pancakes was very well done and had a nice easy-going finish to a rather well done issue. I would’ve like to see a little more Bart Simpson, but I’ll take this.
