A Heavy Metal Fan Reviews: Majestic Loincloth Episode 3
Squirt your courage allll oOOOOOOOVERRR MEEEEE!!!!!
So, this week’s episode didn’t do a whole lot in terms of progressing the story of Gunnar except for the fact that he gets access to a new lotion with powers of invincibility. More or less, this week’s episode was probably more of a music video than the others in that there really was only the one song, but this one song I think may have been the best one of the bunch. Very Amon Amarth sounding whilst continuing with the viking/folk vocals and the killer solos mid-way through complete with the psychedelics. I didn’t know this until we interviewed show creator Richard Christy, but evidently he is a fan of Squidbillies, and when you watch the episodes and you especially check out the settings and backgrounds, you can definitely see some influences of that show all over whether intentional or not. From hand-written font to the somewhat old-school hand-drawn look of the characters, one can’t help but think Dave Willis isn’t watching this somewhere (probably in hell) and smiling. However, maybe we can lose the wenches, yea?

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
