A Heavy Metal Fan Reviews @Cwotd ‘s @loinclothRB Episode 2
We continue our trek alongside Gunnar Steedhorn as he decides to go after the motherfucker that killed his son. The burial after the jump…

This week’s episode of Majestic Loincloth was more or less trash talking between Gunnar and Orloff whilst the former is mulling over the death of his son Oliver Steedhorn. For one, Gunnar isn’t all that great at wiping his ass usually leaving behind a stinky cloud, but this time he decides to clean himself up in the town’s drinking water. Orloff flies away, but the real deal here are the intro/outro muscial opuses that accompany the silly yet funny dialogue. The song coming into the mid way point featuring Richard singing as Gunnar on vocals is SO good, like almost Peter Steele fronting Amon Amarth good but not as folky as a normal Viking band would sound. On the other hand I wasn’t crazy about Orloff’s vocals as I thought the harmony wasn’t meshing well with the killer tracks riding over it. Hats off to Dicko Mather, of whom I think could start directing Metalocalypse and might be a good candidate to lead the cause if Brendon Small ever decides to just do voices. Richard’s imposition on the animated series is funny as hell, as he certainly loves to show off that belly, and this time he brings the ladies to help out, all of whom were attractive but a couple of them definitely had bellies on them, too. Not saying that’s a bad thing, but you would think Richard being in the Stern world he’d be able to pull a JD and get a few super-hotties from Brooklyn to volunteer.
Overall, another strong episode, and a show that is certainly starting to mature each episode in terms of song writing, story telling, and dialogue, that should please fans of cartoons and metal alike.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
