Review: Regular Show ‘A Bunch of Full Grown Geese’

Holy shit…a bunch of Canadian Geese come to the park and terrorize everyone there and even ruins Mordecai and Rigby’s awesome sandwich. But, Benson’s gonna make the dynamic duo try and get rid of the geese themselves but no matter what they try nothing works. This causes them to try and recruit Skips, but he convinces them to call a bunch of baby ducks of whom also prove to be useless with their ideas of using red lasers. Thankfully, the ducks show up with green lasers, but this only causes the geese to get angrier. Both the geese and ducks turn into giant robots and kick the shit out of each other for the balance of the episode. Mid way through, the ducks go down, and Mordecai and Rigby power up to combine forces to bring about a force that the geese simply could not match. After the battle, Benson yells at his employees and the ducks, but momma duck comes by to rip the park manager a new one.

One hundred episodes and Regular Show shows the rest of the glass how its done. JG and crew put on a clinic on how animated television done with this masterpiece. The episode started out similar to old-school Family Guy in terms of causing the geese to bully everyone at the park, even making a big deal out of beating up the sandwich. And just when you thought the joke was maybe running its course, we get a Transformers/Gundam?Voltron quality android fight that should go done as one of the best animated fights in recent history. Hell, they even had fucking STAN BUSH’s theme from the original 86 Transformers cartoon! The fights were great, the laughs kept coming, the animation tight as a whales butt. Yea, this one had everything to warrant one of these.
