Stop Digging

Phineas and Ferb are building an inground swimming pool which alarms OWCA and Perry because they might stumble onto one o Perry’s evac tubes. Thankfully, children are easily distractable, and Perry uses this to his advantage all the while building the kids a big ass above ground pool!

Universal Remote

Doof has a new ‘Universal Remote-inator’ that acts like the movie Click where he can zap stuff like if its a TV remote and do all sorts of stuff like pause, rewind, change channels, etc. Eventually, Perry shows up and a fight ensues just as Phineas and Ferb were rolling out the red carpet to their award show. Candace wants tell Lynn of course, but she gets paused then muted. She actually does get out and tells her mom, but not before the remote rewinds the award show setup and Doof’s evil plot is thwarted.

This month’s issue comes with six comics, three shorts, one I would say decent size, and then a proper one near the end. If you think that’s worth the $4 then go get it, but to be honest I’d prefer more in the style of ‘Universal Remote’ than I would ‘Curses’. That said, Universal Remote and Stop Digging were the highlights of this issue as Digging had an interesting plot twist where Perry has to stop his owners from uncovering his double agent whereabouts, and the Remote strip had a look and feel of a story you most certainly would see on TV even if the plot is clearly derived from Click.
