‘Up All Night’ creator joins ‘Murder Police’ staff for FOX, plus more AniDom shakeup

I hope ya’ll weren’t excited for the NBC show Up All Night…because the creator of that show has joined a new force.

Murder Police already has the sounds of being a big success on FOX when it premiers this Fall as it seems to have a lot of really great seasonings in place to make this one taste delicious. For starters, the show is being produced by Bento Box of whom seem to be popping up just about everywhere for projects like Bob’s Burgers, Brickleberry, and the recently premiered Out There for IFC and with a bunch of solid material under their belts this should add another notch. Then the voice cast, most notably the great Will Sasso who will be playing  TOMMY MARGARETTI.  Now, it looks as though Murder Police has enlisted  Emily Spivey to its ranks as exec-producer according to Deadline.com.

For those who don’t know, Emily Spivey used to work on King of the Hill and MadTV, so she is no stranger to helping put together programming that is edgy or off the cuff as she comes off the recently aborted series Up All NightMurder Police debuts as part of FOX’s Animation Domination this fall and this isn’t the only change as Deadline has reported that FOX’s head of television animation Jennifer Howell has left the company after her Inkubation program failed to bring any new properties to FOX’s AniDom besides Murder Police. Also, her track record is mixed on green lighting new program as she helped bring to not only bring to life Allen Gregory and Napoleon Dynamite but also Bob’s Burgers.  AniDom department director Evan Shames is also set to transition as a writer.
