Seth MacFarlane says ‘No Way’ to Future Oscar Hosting Duties…And Why That Is A Good Thing(for Seth)
Seth isn’t doing the Oscars anymore (thank Christ) which makes me happy that I don’t have to watch the Oscars again.
Recently Seth posted on Twitter that he will NOT be hosting the Oscars ever again:
RT @crusephoto: @sethmacfarlaneWould you host the #Oscars again if asked? // No way.Lotta fun to have done it, though.

And who can blame him? The poor guy puts on one of the most watched Oscar telecasts in like five years, and all of the sudden he gets all these critics admonishing him for songs about boobs! Are people for friggin’ real?? This is the guy that has given us such awesomeness as Family Guy, American Dad, and Ted and yet there are STILL people out there shocked at what Seth was going to do?? This is why no one really cares about the Academy Awards or any awards show. This is also the reason why we typically don’t write about said award shows a whole lot. Rather, we’d rather see Seth MacFarlane continue to deliver gut-busting laughs with his work on a Ted sequel.
The Comedy Central Roasts are probably going to be naming their victims/hosts in the next few months and I think Seth should host a few more of those this way he can get more appreciation. Family Guy returns on March 10th with an all new episode, and we can’t wait.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
