Spoilers Below
BARTMAN’S DR. OCTUPLETS
After Bartman saves the Kwik-E-Mart from the evil clutches of Metal Solid Snake, Apu goes nuts after getting electrocuted and forms a new alter-ego named ‘Dr. Octuplets’. Sporting new goggles, an over-sized jacket, and eight projectile babies that are too cute to hit, ‘Octuplets’ begins terrorizing Springfield by robbing local banks and jewelry stores. After initially getting scared off by the evil Dr., Bartman returns armed with Bartgirl, of whom comes equipped by her projectile squishee that ends up cooling off the evil doer and sets Apu back to normal.
BASKETBALL’S A DREAM
Bart gets cuts from the boys’ bball team and Lisa sprains a finger for the girls…know where this is going?? Yep, Skinner sets it up so that Bart dresses like a girl to help the girls team in winning the championship. Obviously having a dude on a girls team springs an advantage and that comes to fruition as Springfield Elementary nearly wins the whole thing but not before Bart’s disguise comes apart thereby getting the team disqualified. When Chalmers finds out, he orders Bart AND Skinner to start
MILHOUSE GOES TO HECK
Milhouse steals cookies and imagines what a cold day in hell feels like.
Other then the last short which pretty much explains how Christianity is still around, Bart#78 offers up a nice mix of stories, but I honestly think that ‘Basketball’s a Dream’ is like the fourth basketball related story in the last 5 or 6 months from Bongo. Yea, it was kinda funny, but hell if the writers had just changed the plot to be a different story, I might have been more surprised. However, the Bartman story was a LOT of fun, with clear inspirations coming from Spider-Man, Batman, and even Metal Gear Solid all of which should help geeks alike have fun just pointing things out. The Milhouse short was OK, my problem is with the title, “Milhouse goes to Heck”? Really?? We can’t say hell? It’s The Simpsons for Christ’s sake!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
