YOUTUBE GOES JAPANESE!
YOUTUBE GOES JAPANESE!
Youtube dropped an A-bomb of an announcement when on its Youtube Japan blog they let loose that the Original Content movement has reached the land of the rising sun. We noted a few weeks ago about the Original Content movement trekking through Europe, and now Asia gets a taste as it already has a channel for terrible, terrible anime. The name of the channel is called AnimeBancho and they already have a new series on there that just looks awful.
That said, one can’t wonder if this could spark a movement of original comedies geared towards adults that are actually good and not like anything that could be on the official rerun block of Japanese Animation aka Toonami. We’ll let you know if anything good comes out of it, but if it smells like Bleech we are taking a pass.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
