TITMOUSE  AND THE KILLERS TEAM UP TO BRING ART BACK TO THE MUSIC VIDEO

The music video scene has been so depressing for I would say 15 years. Having grown up on a steady diet of heavy metal, the Smashing Pumpkins, and more heavy metal, music videos were such a big part of the DNA that helped me fall in love with the music t so much so that sometimes I wouldn’t even care about the song and instead would just sit through the video. Take for example this new video that Titmouse did for ‘The Killers’. I’m really not a fan of the music, but I respect the musicianship of Brandon Flowers so I was curious to check out their new video for the song “Miss Atomic Bomb”.  After watching it,  I couldn’t help but be blown away by the production on this video in terms of the costumes, the story that the producers were putting through, and the seamless integration of live-action and animation that helps take me back to when music videos were an art form and not a promotional tool.
