Walt Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph will be hitting store shelves March 5, 2013 and Disney has quite a few different editions set to release. The first edition is the 2 Disc ‘Collector’s Edition’ that comes with both the DVD and Blu-Ray copies of the film in a standard 2D format. The ‘Ultimate Collector”s Edition’ will be like the Hulk edition, coming with a two-disc DVD plus two versions of the film on Blu-Ray giving you the option of watching it on 2D or 3D. The latter version will also include a download copy but you only get to download it on one device, of which I think is kinda shitty.

Here’s the silly part…the price! You can currently pre-order the ‘Collector’s Edition’ on Amazon for about $28 which is a heck of a lot cheaper than the $40 MSRP. The ‘Ultimate’ edition is also on Amazon and you can purchase that for $35 of which is $15 cheaper than the retail price. In either case, its gonna be pricey, but if you have read our review its a damn fine film so the judgment will be up to you as to what you think is the better play here.
