DOES ‘BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD’ HAVE A NEW HOME???
This past Saturday Night on Comedy Central we got a bad ass marathon featuring South Park and the most recent run of Beavis and Butt-Head that was on MTV towards the end of 2011. For those whom might think this is trivial read on. A couple months back Eric the Midget of the Howard Stern Show actually interviewed Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge about the whereabouts of his super big animated franchise. According to Mike Judge, he is trying to sell Beavis and Butt-Head to other networks but says ‘MTV moves too slow’. But, with the marathon could that signify that B&B has a new and permanent home?
Taking all this into consideration, Beavis and Butt-Head: Do America is played on Comedy Central 10,000 times a year so one would think that if MTV didn’t work out that Comedy Central could be a likely home for Beavis and Butthead. Comedy Central has a bunch of great animated shows like South Park, Brickleberry, Futurama and Ugly Americans on its network and it looks to add to that with new additions TripTank and Gajillionaires. That said, a South Park/ Beavis and Butt-Head Wednesday Night would almost certainly guarantee Comedy Central winning the 10pm time slot every week on cable TV.
So yea, who wants new Beavis and Butt-Head? Are there other animated shows that you would like to see that MTV used to air that would make sense on Comedy Central??
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
