REVIEW: THE LOONEY TUNES SHOW “YOU’VE GOT HATE MAIL”
Daffy mistakenly sends an insulting email to everyone he knows.
Spoilers Below
Bugs is having dinner with Lola’s parents and despite bringing a 2nd rate desert everything seems to be going well. So much so that Lola wants Bugs to be in a family portrait while wearin matching outfits. Unfortunately, Bugs gets into a scuffle with Daffy and chips his big ass tooth in the process. When he shows it to Lola, she tells her dude that the shoot is cancelled but Bugs doesn’t buy it and makes sure he shows up to get his picture taken with the family no matter what much to his lady’s chagrin. Before the shoot, Bugs goes over to Sam’s house and borrows some of his cowboy clothes so that he can match in with Lola’s families’ glittery induced cowboy gear. A chase ensues which leads to a crash where the entire family gets a chipped tooth so now everyone’s got matching grins!
Meanwhile, Daffy starts writing up a nasty email geared towards everyone he has a problem with to let go of a little steam without sending it….welp at least for a minute because the email gets sent to EVERYONE including Bugs! Mixed results is some of the feedback Daffy is getting, Speedy is pissed, Porky didn’t get it, but Yosemite did and he was thrilled with the duck’s honest opinion. That said, Tina hasn’t seen it yet because she has been stuck at work and her charger is dead. As such, Daffy wants to break into Tina’s apartment with Porky’s help so they can erase the email. However, once they get in Daffy can’t figure out her password but unfortunately for him Tina gets home from work. That said, Daffy gets into Tina’s email but when she goes to read it we find out that the email is actually quite nice.
A wonderful turn around from the premier episode, as Kristen Wiig as Lola was just on frigging point tonight. Yep, when she gets going she is one of the most talented voice actresses on the planet but she doesn’t need me to tell her that ‘s why she has an Emmy. Also, the chase near the end of Bugs’ story was really well done and quite comical. Daffy came in strong as well, and I am really enjoying the fact that he is willing to commit B&E to get into his lady’s place plus try and hack her computer to get an email changed. And how about Sam in a book club??? Hahahahaha. Good stuff, looking forward to next week for sure!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
