#NYCC 2012 RECAP: @ADULTSWIM AND @TITMOUSE WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER

3) China, IL

I think its kind of interesting that Superjail and China, IL switched places as to what they brought in terms of clips. Last year, Superjail brought in a preview of the upcoming season with no recorded audio, this year China, IL gave us an animatic of a new episode of the upcoming season with full on audio as opposed to a fully finished episode like last time. That said, you can tell creators Brad Neely and Dan Weidenfield look to be more of a cohesive unit this year as I’m sure a year of working together and seeing their own product on TV does a lot of different things for people. Also, the crew continues to swing for the fences when it comes to adding talent and characters and that was evident from the start, as not only were we joined buy some of the Titmouse crew for the panel, but Hannibal Buress who will be playing a new character by the name of Matt Attack to help join another new character named Wendeloquence. Now, some might wonder with a slate of existing characters from both the China, IL animated series and the Super Deluxe shows of yesteryear that the show would have plenty of characters to bring back, but the creators really are looking more towards the future as they look to expand the second season to being 22 minutes with Dan mentions will give them “more breathing room” when it comes to mapping out episodes starting this summer(as previously reported). Some of the potential log lines of the upcoming season according to Neely include China IL’s take on Ancient Aliens, Kevin Costner, and oh yea the return of fucking Ronald Reagan. P.S. Dave Coulier is God and for the last time NO MORE WIZARD PEOPLE!! Yea, it was a great CD, but Jesus H. Christ, I wish some people would just let it go.
