5) Titmouse, Inc

The brains behind the animated madness of such shows as Metalocalypse, Venture Bros., and so many other popular properties, Chris Prynoski , Dave Newberg , Grif Kimmins , Jon Schnepp , Mike Carlo , Peedee Shindell , Richard Mather were all on hand to talk about what it takes to MAKE these shows look so great. As cool as that sounds, I think there is something else that I felt needed mentioning and that was there was this certain pride brought by just about EVERY Adult Swim show mentioning the fact that their animation is mostly done in the United States with both Venture Bros. and Superjail having some if not all of the animation being done in Brooklyn. Doc Hammer mentioned it during the Venture panel and I thought it was pretty rad that the Titmouse guys were well represented on the Superjail and China, IL panels where aspiring animators could asking them questions about how to make it into an awfully crowded business. When mentioning that animation is done in the States, I really felt it gave new found hope to people wanting to break into the business that there ARE studios in the US(including Brooklyn) and that not all of the animation is being sent overseas, but there are home grown businesses here that instill a certain amount of American pride in their work and from my seat that pride comes from the top with Titmouse and its genius of a founder Chris Prynoski.
