SOUTH PARK RETURNS ON COMEDY CENTRAL NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT
South Park is a week away from premiering the second half of its 16th season with Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro linebacker Lamarr Woodley set to guest star which is pretty much the only thing we know about the season premier. Well, that and that according to this press release(after the jump) South Park returns Wed., Sept 26th on Comedy Central @ 10:00 PM EST. So check your local listings and get your hats and gloves because the gang is back!
“South Park” returns with seven all-new episodes beginning on Wednesday, September 26 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on COMEDY CENTRAL.
The all-new “South Park” episodes from this season are available in HD exclusively on Xbox LIVE, iTunes, Sony PlayStation Network, Amazon Instant Video and Vudu, and in SD on Samsung Media Hub and iN Demand. Episodes are also available on SouthParkStudios.com.
Voted “The Greatest Animated TV Series” in a poll conducted by Entertainment Weekly, COMEDY CENTRAL’s “South Park” launched on August 13, 1997. The series airs Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m. and repeats later that night at midnight (all times ET/PT).








There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
