REVIEW: REGULAR SHOW “BAD KISS”
Mordecai finally tries to kiss Margaret.
Spoilers Below
Eileen, Rigby, Mordecai, and Margaret head back to Mord’s place for some shakes. However, when Mordecai runs back to the car for his wallet Margaret joins him and the two kiss. Problem is Mordecai has shitty bad breath so he runs into the house and tells Rigs what went down. To try and help his bud out of a jam, Rigby whips out his time machine that he bought for $15 so that Mordecai can give his past self a mint but that doesn’t work. Next the guys try to stop past Mordecai from ordering a chili dog, but that doesn’t work either. Lastly, the guys go back further when Mordecai and Rigby are eating at the restaurant and they turn down pie, with the thinking being if Mordecai eats the pie he wouldn’t be hungry for a hot dog.
After pissing off Margaret, Mordecai decides to go back to when he first woke up so that he can swig some mouthwash, but when he grabs himself, both he, his past self, and Rigby come back to the present. Past Mordecai gets pissed though so he takes the time machine and goes back to his time, but luckily Rigby has a 2nd time machine and he uses it to start chasing past Mordecai. Eventually, the guys go through all forms of past that is until present Mordecai tells his past self of when he kisses Margaret causing him to go to that time. Eventually, the past Mordecai gets swapped and Rigby goes back to the future(BOOM!) to destroy the time machine. Unfortunately, despite having fresh breath Mordecai and Margaret don’t kiss and instead Mordecai finds his wallet and the couple just go back in the house for shakes.
Sorry if that recap was hard to grasp, most time warp episodes are tough to track. That said, we had a fine episode that was a lot of fun despite the somewhat dated plot. Seeing a whole bunch of Mordecais at the same time was pretty bad ass but the episode left a lot of questions for a season finale did it not? Like, did Mordecai technically kiss Margaret??? Not sure, but Regular Show was a lot of fun this season and is probably the most underrated show on animated television right now Looking forward to season 4!

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
