RUH-ROH…SKRILLEX SET TO CONTRIBUTE MUSIC FOR ‘WRECK-IT RALPH’
I don’t like Skrillex all that much and hate him even more now as The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop that the dub-step superstar is set to contribute music to the upcoming Disney film Wreck-It Ralph which is slated to hit theaters this November starring John C. Reilly as the title character. One has to wonder if Disney is not only shooting for an older audience for its Disney Channel properties with shows like Fish Hooks, Gravity Falls, and Phineas and Ferb, but could the Mickey-monolith be bringing this same sense to films??
Obviously, Disney knows where they have their bread buttered and that’s with CG-animated films geared towards families, but with Wreck-It Ralph, it must be different I mean how many 12 year old kids know who Q-bert is?? Coupled with the fact that the film is being directed by Rich Moore whom has stuck largely to prime time animated series in the past like Futurama and The Simpsons.
You can check out the trailer for Wreck-It Ralph here and the film is set to release in theaters everywhere November 2, 2012.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
