Benedict Cumberbatch TO GUEST STAR ON ‘THE SIMPSONS’ NEXT SEASON
Having the name of Benedict Cumberbatch must’ve been a good time during any kind of SAT’s testing but its also the name belonging to the 2011 British GQ’s actor of the year. Turns out through means of dashing persuasion Benedict was able to get a guest starring role in Season 24 of The Simpsons where he will be playing both the British Prime Minister and a snake in an episode entitled “Love Is A Many-Splintered Thing”. According to an interview with InStyle Magazine, Benedict had this to say about his role in the popular animated series:
“I was at a meeting yesterday in the same place The Simpsons is recorded and heard there was a part going in an episode. I said, ‘I hate to muscle in here, guys, but could I record it?’ Next thing, I’m standing in a room with all those famous voices: Bart, Marge, Homer, Lisa…”
Once we hear when the episode is supposed to air we will let you know. You can also check out The Simpsons panel this weekend in which you can find out about here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
