REVIEW: ARCHER “SKIN GAME”

Episode Synopsis: Archer’s dead fiancée, Katya, miraculously reappears—in Krieger’s lab. Original Air Date: Mar 8, 2012

Scene opens with Kreiger surprising Archer with the reanimated corpse of his formerly dead wife Katya.  She’s not exactly the same as before, however, as she’s pretty much a Terminator. Malory’s suspicious and takes some talking into by Lana of all people. Lana’s take is, lets keep Katya to help battle Barry in a revenge tactic for killing Nikolai Jakov. Speaking of jacking off, after Sterling and Katya consummate their reunion, Katya rinses out her vagina in the sink, by removing it from her body and leaving it for Woodhouse to clean. This causes a rift in the relationship, with Archer coming to terms with the fact that he fucked a robot for the 2nd time in his life, and Katya becomes concerned that her now soon to be husband will never accept her.

During the procession, Barry interrupts the wedding and we get a mecha-show down between him and Katya that puts anything Robocop  ever did to shame mainly because they get caught cyber-banging each other. And as Archer learns, mother knows best!

Poor Sterling, was utterly helpless in this episode(though one could say the same thing for Barry, jeez). You wanted to root for him and Katya, you really did, but I guess all those circuits and micro chips were no match for our hero. However, what does this mean for Archer and Pam? Are they officially through or can they pick up where they left off last week?  Having said that, I wouldn’t mind a robot lady with a detachable vagina, as it would certainly help to be devoid of any pillow talk afterwards. And how about the mecha-assault, huh? I’m telling ya, whomever wrote Terminator 3 should watch this and take notes.
