Roger just joined the army as Sgt. Peppers which begins to interfere as the family therapist Dr Penguin, but he was never any good at solving the family’s problems anyway so Klaus decides to open up his own practice when Roger gets shipped off to Iraq. At first, the startup doesn’t go so smooth because Klaus doesn’t have any patients showing that he is clearly is not as popular as his predecessor. This causes Klaus to consult his own therapist, Charlie, to try and get some advice to in order to get more business. His advice? To start spreading the family’s deepest, darkest secrets! You name it and its out there, Francine’s terrible cooking, Steve’s new girlfriend, and Jeff’s obsession with Haley’s mother. all become fodder for the bombs being dropped and as can be expected, all this dirty laundry being aired causes the Smith family to combust in built up anger and rage.

While, in Iraq, Roger takes up outhouse cleaning, and even though he is good at it he just ends up getting shit on. But, then Klaus comes out to Iraq to try and get Roger back so that he can fix the family of their troubles only to be completely useless until later validated by Klaus and his manliness.

Even thought the Hurt Locker parody was short-lived, it was actually really funny and subsequently the highlight of this week’s episode as I don’t think Klaus is very funny, even though I really like Dee Bradley Baker. It was great seeing Dr. Penguin, as his advice was really funny, but Sgt. Peppers kept kicking the shit out of Reese Witherspoon which is RIGHT on time because she just released a new movie called This Means War. Steve threatening to piss in Stan’s cereal was funny, but other than that the rest of the Smith family took the night off in the jokes dept.
