REVIEW: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TIM “The Well Dressed Snitch; Pray for the Jets”

Tim is asked to pose for GQ magazine; the New York Jets’ fiscally irresponsible priest wants Tim to place bets for him.

THE WELL DRESSED SNITCH

Tim goes to a semi-formal trendy party and is ridiculed by everyone there for dressing like a homeless person. That said, he meets a scout for GQ magazine who wants to set Tim up with a personal photo shoot.  No one believes Tim though, pretty much that an average looking dude like him can get into such an esteemed publication. Armed with a hot new scarf and a new dash of confidence Tim is the talk of both his and Amy’s place of work. However, as it turns out this whole deal seemed a little too good to be true because apparently this GQ scout is doing an expose’ story on Omnicorp and its unfair practices.

PRAY FOR THE JETS

Its still football season for Tim and Stu as they are having a great time at a Jets game. That is until a priest invites the guys into the locker room during the team prayer. Its here Tim gets some phony inside information from the priest about the Jets winning the next game, but its all bullshit because the bookie has been looking for the priest to pay back a bad debt. Problem is, the priest keeps betting on the Jets to win and they keep losing, so Tim takes the cash to the bookie and bets it on the Newark Girls basketball only for them to lose too! But, we soon learn, God works in mysterious ways.

Another solid episode for season 3, and with the season finale coming next week, I’m crossing my fingers that we get a season 4 from HBO. I believe its well-deserved and you can definitely tell by the Tim Facebook page that there are a lot of hardcore fans that love this show. I would like a different night of the week maybe like a Monday night instead of Friday nights, but that’s just the beer talking. Oh yea, never bet the JETS.
