REVIEW: ARCHER “THE LIMITED”

ISIS teams with the Mounties to transport a captured Canadian terrorist on a train.

 Spoilers Below

Ever see Con Air? Welp, “The Limited” is kinda like that, where ISIS has to transport a high-risk prisoner named Bilco across the border into Canada on a high-speed train that is being commissioned by the Tunt Railroad Company. Why is that strange? Well, if you remember in Season 2, it was revealed that Cheryl Tunt is a half owner of the billion dollar company, so of course not only is she along for the ride but she adds like five luxury train cars, one of them holding Babou, her fabled ocelot.

Trouble ensues, however when both Babou and Bilco escape and are roaming around the various train cars with Lana, Archer, and Cyril hot on their tracks…(or in Babou’s case really AWESOME tracks!) Eventually Archer and Lana find both Babou and Bilco, with the  latter turning into an all out fisticuffs on top of the fast moving locomotive.  Holy Shitsnacks!!

Adam Reed is awesome. Not only does he give us the high-speed train chase with a battle on the roof that would’ve satisfied an action hero, but throw in Babou, a rabid ocelot that is just randomly roaming around pissing on everything and you got a sure fire classic. Also, there were more Canadian stereotype jokes than I could throw a stick at,  but apparently they are more pissed off when Americans are racist against black people…who knew? Having said all this, remind me never to watch a Canadiens vs Bruins game in Montreal, as I never have anything nice to say about P.K. Subban and wouldn’t want to risk getting the Mounties on my ass.
