REVIEW: CHINA, IL “CHINESE NEW YEAR”

The professors join together to build robotic replicas of themselves to take their place. This is the New Years Eve special.

You would think that if your entire school’s class failed the fuck out of their exams, that the teachers would be worried about getting fired or the school would be in danger of shutting down. Well kids, not for the University of China, Illinois…as a matter of fact the faculty is thrilled and throw a massive bash in celebration! They even do a Secret Santa gift exchange, of which poor Frank gets left out because no one really likes him, which I find crazy because he’s the most lovable character of the bunch!

As a result of the bad test scores, the students start to riot against their teachers for not doing their jobs and it gets so out of hand that the Mayor comes to town with an affidavit from the Governor for an opportunity to take a re-test causing the Dean to bust out of a four-story window and crawl down the side of the building like the exorcist to confront his arch nemesis in the most maniacal way possible.  And of course a re-test pisses off the faculty and as a result they decide to make robotic clones of themselves to act as substitutes and help teach the students.

Things go awry however when the robots turn out to be just as useless as the faculty, and even more so when Frank decides to fuck his own clone(who knew?) Since the robots are going crazy, the faculty now have to take them down at the behest of Frank who likes the fact that there’s one person(or thing) out there that actually cares about him! Oh yea, and the Governor looks like Verne Troyer.

I had ZERO clue there was a new episode of UCI as I JUST happened to catch it by perusing through. I didn’t see one commercial, or one press release, or NOTHING!  Having said that, I missed the fuck out of this show and was glad to get at least one more episode before the end of the year. This is the best new show of the year(officially now by far) because its funny, smart, and they might be the best in the business at making every second of their 11 minute run time count making Brad Neely I think the next great producer of animated television along with the likes of MacFarlane, Groening, and Parker/Stone.
