Review: Squidbillies “Ballmart”

Early gets a job at a new big box store called “Ballmart” so as to protest its opening…

SPOILERS BELOW!

I can’t even begin to count how many animated shows have had Wal-mart episodes…off the top of my head who can forget Peter Griffin’s stint at Superstore USA? Having said that, nothing beats the opening of Ballmart especially when Early and the rest of his family are in the snacks aisle scarfing down on junk food and beer(do they even have beer at Wal-mart?)! This leads to the Sheriff(who is the manager of the store) to hire both Granny AND Early. Well, technically Sheriff hires Granny first, so she becomes Early’s supervisor, which of course doesn’t go over well.

All in all another fine episode, as the Squids were able to take a cliched plot and turn it on its head.
