Review: Archer “Heart of Archness” Part 2 of 3

This week of Archer is the 2nd part in a 3 part series known as Heart of Archness. Archer is the pirate king and everyone has to deal with it while ISIS brings a half-assed search party to come “rescuing” him. Review after jump!

So yea, I don’t know what an idiom is nor do I plan on looking it up. But, this episode was littered with them apparently. The episode starts out with Archer banging out two pirate broads, and reveling in his new found position as Pirate King.  Meanwhile, we have Lana and Ray flying over for the rescue but with Lana trying to convince herself that she isn’t in love with Archer. Back at Isis, no one seems to put a lot of effort into the search.

Back at the island, the pirates turn on Archer and attempt to kill him, Rip Riley, and Archer’s translator. Despite all this, Archer does a dick thing and shoots the only radio on the island. After a bunch of running around the three get thrown in jail and are joined by Lana and Ray…whooops!

Overall, another solid episode and the 3rd chapter is shaping up to be real great. Jon Benjamin, James Hong( as Bucky), Patrick Warburton, and David Cross are all earning their keep because they are spot on throughout the episode.  Archer and Rip’s one liners towards Noah were killing me gently and I couldn’t stop laughing for a good 5-8 minutes which I thought put this episode WAY ahead of the last episode in terms of funny.
