‘South Park’ Could Lead Spotify’s New Video Endeavor
As we reported a few weeks ago, Spotify is making a push toward broadening its content with video, and Comedy Central is one of the company’s first allies.
Now folks from On The Money have apparently reported that not only is this true, but South Park is in talks to become a featured series.
No other details to report yet, but this seems like a solid move for the youth-focused streaming entertainment service.
Spotify has already partnered with BBC, ESPN, and Vice.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
