Producer News Roundup: Family Guy; DC Animated Universe

Deadline is reporting that Jonathan Gabay, best known for helping oversee Family Guy over at FOX, has gotten a promotion that will see him become the SVP Comedy Development & Programming.
In his new position, Gabay will be responsible for helping drive development efforts for the network’s comedy slate and leading series coverage on Fox’s comedy hits.
Andrea Romano, long time voice acting director having worked on such properties as The Boondocks and a slew of DC Animated films, has retired from the industry after discovering that she has optic neuropathy which is causing her to go blind in one eye.
Pretty much all of the DC Animated films from 2009 and forward were voice directed by her including Wonder Woman, Batman vs Robin, and a slew of others.
