Mondo Media and 6PH Finalize Merger

It has been a rough couple of years for Mondo Media. Following the cancellation of Like, Share, Die, we haven’t seen anything come from Bite on Mondo since late last year, and we were supposed to get a bunch of animated movies that never happened. Now with a merger finalized with 6 Point Harness (whom just put out a pilot for the excellent Apollo Gauntlet) it looks as though we may be getting some of that back.

Development is now ongoing for a new cable series, an upcoming R-rated animated comedy film, and apparently a reboot of some of the classic Mondo franchises. Not sure which are being rebooted, but if it were me, I’d start with Deep Space 69, Dick Figures, and maybe one or two others.

The merger will keep the Mondo Media name with John Evershed as the CEO and 6PH President Brendon Burch as the CCO. No word yet on release dates for anything, but we’ll keep our ears open.
