ITS WEBS DAY! Arby ‘n’ The Chief, Simon’s Cat, Papercuts

Arby ‘n’ The Chief “Ashes”

I’m a fan of this movie called Super and in it Rainn Wilson is talking to Ellen Page and tells her about events that happen in superheroes’ lives that do not get drawn or really talked about and that these events are “what happens in the panels”. Arby ‘n’ The Chief is a genius series about what happens with the Arbiter and Master Chief when the game isn’t on similar to Red vs Blue but maybe a bit better because it has a reality show feel to it. Its pure greatness, as we watch Chief and Arbiter battle depression, angst, and anxiety in what might be the best animated web series on the web today. And its coming from the #2 Youtube channel on the planet Machinima.

Simon’s Cat in ‘Ready, Steady, Slow!’

In honor of the channel’s 1 millionth subscriber, I figure I’d do a quick write up. And Simon’s Cat is everything its advertised to be. Its a bit more of a cuter series than what we typically cater to but its fun for everyone. Granted, the majority of the episodes are right about a minute or so making it more of an appetizer but its still a great showing.

Papercuts – The Movie (#3)

Papercuts is a rather new addition to the Mondo family and it fits right at home. The show was created by Alex Horan and Johnny Chew who also voice characters in the show which is workplace comedy that seems to be largely inspired but not nearly as quaint as Workaholics and none of the heart from say The Office. Having said that, the show is pretty funny and provides some laughs even if it is deprived of a bit of originality.
