Comics Review: The Flintstones #5
What the hell was that?
This month’s issue of The Flintstones was shot from the start. It’s an issue that features a rather ok premise featuring the kids running for president, but then to make the B plot a flash back episode was just confusing as hell. It’s not even entirely clear why we reminisced about Barney and Fred being in the Water Buffalos to begin with, except as a Bam Bam origin story. Not a lot of laughs, either, so I’d pass on this one.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
