BubbleCAN Review: Fugget About It ‘Pizza with Extra Cheech’
Spoilers Below
Jimmy and Uncle Cheech are on thin ice after all the shenanigans they’ve caused during their stay in Regina, and McCool warns them that one more screw up and they’re expelled from witness protection.
Of course, that just foreshadows the things to come.
It all starts when Theresa gets a job on the Wiseguys VS Aliens movie set, and when the boys find a Cheech imposter on the film set, they set out to whack him.
It turns out to be Enzo, the pizza guy from New York (voiced by comedian Frank Spadone). He’s an aspiring director who stole Cheech’s identity to become a technical advisor for Hollywood gangster movies (think Sean Connery’s infamous line from The Untouchables about Italians and gunfights).
When Cheech and Jimmy start taking their cut from Enzo, they begin living like Hollywood royalty.
But when a hitman (an incarnation of Leon from The Professional) shows up to take care of the Falcones, Enzo comes up with a solution that gives viewers the most violent climax in Fugget About It history.
This episode blended that classic Fugget About It stereotyping, where no race or religion is left untouched, with plenty of film trivia that major cinephiles would dig.
And that’s that for the second season of the greatest Canadian animated sitcom geared toward adults. Keep your fingers crossed for season three.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
