Xavier: Renegade Angel Will Be Part Of Adult Swim’s Class of 2020 Commencement Speaker Series

For both my college and high school commencements all I got were dick head teachers giving us speeches. Fortunately for all of the upcoming graduates of 2020 in quarantine right now, Adult Swim has plans for way better commencement speakers.

Chief among them, Xavier: Renegade Angel. That’s right, the Vernon Chatman-voiced character will be one of the commencement speakers to join the likes of Eric Andre, Killer Mike, JB Smoove, and a slew of others in a series of commencement addresses for all of the kids that don’t get the “thrill” of the same experience whilst sitting in an uncomfortable robe in 90 degree weather for a school you didn’t like in the first place. .

The speaker series will stream on Youtube Live and the Adult Swim app on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays @ 8 pm ET/5 pm PT

For those that don’t recall, Xavier: Renegade Angel was a gem of an adult animated CG-animated series that aired for two seasons created by The Shivering Truth’s Vernon Chatman. Xavier had no problem going after conservative religious nut jobs and other excesses of society so I’m sure whatever speech he is planning is going to be one hell of a ride.

Another noted guest, Carl Brutananadilewski (voiced by Dave Willis) of Aqua Teen Hunger Force will grace graduates with his presence from Seattle, NJ in an upcoming episode of the series. Carl’s a bit more common of a cameo, he’ll do NFL picks on occasion still on Adult Swim during football season similar to his Carl’s Stone Cold Lock of the Century of the Week which ran for a number of seasons.
