Watch: TMZ Stalks Ted Cruz About “Simpsons” Comments ; Harry Shearer Weighs In

Walking colostomy bag Ted Cruz recently had a bump in with TMZ who wanted the Texas senator to further explain his comments from last week comparing the different political parties with characters from The Simpsons. Unfortunately, Ted’s sourpuss gets the best of him and he kinda loses his train of thought for the most part. The far better clip is that of Harry Shearer (voice of “Mr. Burns”) coming through an airport and claiming that he once auditioned for the role of Ted Cruz on “The Simpsons”. He’s probably only half-joking about that, but wouldn’t that be the best thing ever?

The Simpsons return on FOX on March 11th @ 8 pm ET/PT.
