Watch The Insane “Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Trailer

This looks intense.

We were worried which way this was gonna go, but it looks like Nickelodeon has finally given us a worthy animated take on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Granted, it took a Batman to get us there, but maybe this could be the start of something magical for the brand that has been dogged with terrible film and TV adaptations for the better part of the last couple of decades. Check in with this trailer for Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an upcoming 2019 animated superhero film produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment in association with Nickelodeon Animation Studio. It is based on the six-issue intercompany crossover comic book miniseries, Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II. It is scheduled to be released on Digital HD in late Spring 2019.

“This spring, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Home Entertainment are teaming up with DC Entertainment and Nickelodeon for Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an all-new animated movie that unites everybody’s favorite Heroes in the Half-Shell with the Caped Crusader for the first time outside of the comics page. Based on the Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics miniseries by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II, the film will see the turtles meeting Batman and feature our heroes teaming up to face Batman’s deadly rogues gallery.”

The upcoming feature film features Troy Baker reprising his role as Batman from the Telltale series along with his excellent take as The Joker which, in my book, if you’re gonna want a Joker substitute for Mark Hamill, you grab Troy Baker. Also slated to be part of the cast is Darren Criss, Kyle Mooney, Baron Vaughn and Eric Bauza as Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Rachel Bloom is Batgirl, and a number of other rogue gallery characters from both the Turtles (like Shredder and the foot clan) and the Batman universe (Penguin, voiced by Tom Kenny, Mr. Freeze, voiced by John DiMaggio, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, both voiced by Tara Strong, and Ra’s al Ghul, voiced by Cas Anvar).
