‘Vixen’ star posts from recording booth
A second season of Vixen is coming to CW Seed and to prove it, start Megalyn Echikunwoke Tweeted this behind-the-scenes pic at the recording studio and we can learn quite a few things just from looking at it. For starters, the first episode of Vixen 2 is called “Trial By Fire” and that supposedly there is “DVD Material” being recorded as well. Six chapters are on the way for Vixen 2, but with DVD material, could we be getting a home release of both seasons?
Originally from Africa, Mari McCabe’s parents were killed by local greed, corruption, and wanton violence. But the orphaned Mari refuses to succumb to the terrors surrounding her. Inheriting her family’s Tantu Totem, Mari can access the powers of animals-anything from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. As Vixen, she fights valiantly to protect the world from threats like those that claimed her family.
Our Take
That wouldn’t make a lot of sense to me, due to the fact that between both seasons we only have an hour-long episode so either these guys are planning for one hell of a catalog with special features, or we are going to get the rip off of the century as it pertains to a DVD release. Even Disney isn’t this mean.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
