Trailer Breakdown: Moonbeam City Trailer 2
Last week, Comedy Central issued a new trailer for Moonbeam City, a new animated series premiering this Fall on Comedy Central. Guest voices, synopses for episodes, and a whole lot more was part of the reveal. We got to watch the first three episodes, and we decided to breakdown a new trailer released as part of the press release and give you insight on the principle characters.
Meet Dazzle Novak (voiced by Rob Lowe). A womanizing police detective that is easily, easily distracted from doing any real work. His distractions vary from women, to wild life, to wanting to become a music producer. Think Peter Griffin more so than Sterling Archer.
Kate Mara voices the role of Chrysalis Tate. Usually, Tate is the one tagging along with Dazzle and trying to convince him to do his real job. That said, she isn’t always the brightest tool in the french fries, and is usually one to go along with whatever Dazzle is up to.
Meet Rad Cunningham. Voiced by Will Forte, Rad is the hot shot rookie on the same police force as Dazzle, but he acts more like a villain. Whenever Dazzle tries to do something, Rad does the exact same thing, but tries to double on it. He’s just as idiotic as Dazzle, but his physique isn’t on par with Dazzle by a mile. As a result, he complains a lot.
As mentioned, Dazzle goes on missions for his department, but is usually dissuaded by some silly reason. That said, Dazzle usually seems to crack the case, even if he doesn’t mean to.
Moonbeam City is all-new September 16th, 2o15 after an all-new South Park. Only on Comedy Central.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
