So, while we wait, and wait, and wait some more for news about the Bob’s Burgers Movie that will blow our minds in 2020- or, what we all really want, a Rick and Morty film- we thought we would take a look back at ten of the best movies based on an animated TV series. 10. The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie!
After the cancellation of the Drawn Together series in 2007 many fans were upset, and the show continued to gain a cult following with reruns airing on TV for years following. The creators, Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein’s answer to fan outcry, was to create a feature-length film. The Drawn Together Movie featured a plot dealing with the aftermath of the show’s cancellation and boasted a reunion of the original cast members plus Seth MacFarlane. Released in the spring of 2010 and currently has a split decision score of 49% on Rotten Tomatoes.
