Toonami To Air Uncensored “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” Episodes

It’s about friggin’ time someone did this.

At their San Diego Comic-Con panel, Adult Swim programming block Toonami announced plans to broadcast the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure  Anime. The David Production adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s genre-hopping 1986-ongoing series will make its US cable debut in October. With the series coming soon, Toonami co-creator Jason DeMarco responded to a fan’s question about whether or not it will be uncensored.

The Short Answer? Yes!

As someone who’s read a good chunk of the Manga and watched the Anime for years, this is a refreshing piece of news due to how infamous the censorship is in Anime these days. (The Anime Adaptation of Terra Formars for example at one point  had the worst censorship I’ve ever seen with the screens being 70% Black Squares and Black Circles. It was downright ridiculous before they eventually fixed this problem, Crossing my Fingers for a Dub of that in the future.)
