Tom Delonge exit from Blink 182 means good things for ‘Poet Anderson’

The music world was shocked yesterday when it learned that Tom Delonge had effectively left Blink 182 to work on more non-musical endeavors. However, the animation world should NOT be that surprised because when we interviewed him late last year before the premier of his new short film Poet Anderson, he had pretty much told us that his days comprise mostly of his activities surrounding his latest animated adventure including producing a comic book, putting together merch, and the production of a feature-length all of which is set to happen this year.

So if you are a fan of Blink 182, you are probably pissed that this is what went down. However, fans of Poet Anderson should be thrilled as it seems Tom is certainly putting the pedal to the metal in this endeavor. The short film was fantastic, the feature-length has us excited.
