Toddland Gets Stolen Signed Bob’s Burgers Placard Returned After Social Media Finds Culprit

Don’t be a dick.

Here’s a bizarre story that should thwart any would-be merch kidnappers. Toddland, the brand best known for their killer pop-up stores at Comic-Con filled with Bob’s Burgers, American Dad, and Family Guy merchandise all over the place, recently found themselves in a pickle when a patron of the largest Con in the world posted on Instagram that he had a signed Bob’s Burgers placard with signatures from all the cast and producers. Problem is, this thing belonged to Toddland, and that’s when the internet stepped in to help save the day.

Instagram tracked down the culprit (whose name is being withheld as the guy has suffered quite enough already) after he posted the very same placard that Toddland had signed after they had just completed their meet & greets. The merch company was rather nice about it, but the Insta merch company’s fan base wasn’t as forgiving, and before you know it, the sign shows up at a random Chipotle where it was shipped from and is now on it’s way back to its rightful owners.

As for the suspect, Toddland social was more gracious and removed any mentions they previously had of him after he agreed to return the sign, but the moral of the story is, don’t take shit that isn’t yours. Or…you know…don’t post about it on social.
