Time Inc to launch animated short-film with Kobe Bryant
I’m a little basketball depressed because my Boston Celtics gout bounced from the NBA Playoffs a little bit ago, but Time, Inc. doesn’t seem to mind. Later this year, Time Inc and Entertainment Weekly are coming out with a streaming service, and Deadline.com mentions that Kobe Bryant is putting away the ball in favor of a production company:
Time Inc also unveiled a deal with NBA star Kobe Bryant and Believe Entertainment Group to create a production company, Kobe Studios, that will develop multi-platform videos. The effort will include an animated short film for SI.com, Dear Basketball.
Not much else is known about Dear Basketball, but as a fan of the sport, I’m really looking forward to it. Between this and the NBA Draft, I should make it through the next several months.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
