THE TEN BEST ANIMATED TELEVISION SHOWS OF 2012: #9 ‘UGLY AMERICANS’

As we head into 2013, we look at 2012  and list out the best animated series that came, saw, and didn’t bring any kind of an end to the world. We assure you there are a lot of surprises in this list and without a doubt some controversial entries. But, whether you love, hate, or remain indifferent on which shows should be where, be sure to comment and let us know how YOU feel.

Its difficult to pick who is the funniest in this show and that’s why its great. For example, Kurt Metzger as Mark’s roommate Randall is constantly trying to screw over Mark, Michael-Leon Wooley’s Twayne Boneraper is outrageous and has probably been the one character that has evolved so well as the show continues, and of course an anything but normal police officer named Frank Grimes constantly talking up a bigger game than what he has. Take all those ingredients and mix that with a healthy dose of fantastic guest stars from this past season like Jon Benjamin, Dan Fogler, and others and you got yourself a surefire winner. I am very much looking forward to a season 3, but in case if you haven’t seen it yet, Netflix or Hulu the fuck out of this show because its something awesome.

We have no idea what is the future of the series is as it is shrouded with mystery. Creator Devin Clark is still uploading a bunch of Ugly Americans pics whether they be for Christmas or the end of the world. That said, if worst case scenario the series gets a send off from Comedy Central, we would NOT be surprised to see it get picked up elsewhere as there is certainly a devout following for this show not too unlike a Fringe or Doctor Who. Shows like this have a hardcore fan base that will follow the series where ever it may go…even if it stays right where it is.
