“The Simpsons” Launch On Disney+ UK: Producers Tease Guest Cast Wish List ; Marvel Cross-Over

Just in time for the Coronavirus, Disney+ UK has launched with 30 seasons of The Simpsons available for streaming and as such producers and voices are doing all sorts of interviews with Al Jean openly calling for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to guest star and Yeardley Smith (“Lisa”) pushing for a Greta Thunberg appearance. Furthermore, a Marvel Comics call-out by way of the recent issue of Immortal Hulk #1 has the internet press swirling and you can check it out below. Unfortunately, this will be the highlight of news coming for The Simpsons has new episodes aren’t set to return until April 19th.

Synopsis:

The longest-running primetime scripted show in television history, THE SIMPSONS exploded into popular culture in 1990 and has remained one of the most groundbreaking and innovative entertainment franchises, recognizable throughout the world. HOMER (Dan Castellaneta), MARGE (Julie Kavner), BART (Nancy Cartwright), LISA (Yeardley Smith) and MAGGIE are instantly identifiable television icons. Rounding out this cast of characters are many beloved Springfield residents, including tavern proprietor MOE SZYSLAK (Hank Azaria) and nuclear power plant owner MR. BURNS (Harry Shearer). The Emmy Award-, Annie Award- and Peabody Award-winning animated comedy will begin its 31st season this year.
