The ‘D’ may become an animated series for Yahoo!
Feel that?? Yep…that’s allll me.
Hi above the mucky muck, in a castle made of clouds, there sits Jack Black at Cannes sitting oh so proudly. He wasn´t there with Young Nasty man, but whilst there he made mention of a new animated series inspired by the likes of which has never been seen! And what did they call it? Yea they called it Tenacious D! That’s right!! Featuring JB and KG (That’s Me!) They’re now Tenacious D!
The series is said to be in development now for Yahoo and he wasn’t able to say much whilst taking part in a panel at said Cannes fest noting, “”archrivals who shall remain nameless are listening…so they can do the same thing slightly better.”
Jack Black and Kyle Gass aren’t the only huge names Yahoo is working with for animated series as not too long ago they announced a collaboration with John Stamos that could release this fall. Also, this pretty much confirms the death of whatever it was Jack Black was working on with FOX years ago, but who cares? It’s Tenacious D in an animated series!!!! Come fly with me, Fly!!
