The Legend of Korra

Okay, you win this week, writers.  Spoilers Below If you have been following my Legend of Korra reviews for this season, you will see I have been very critical in how the writers pumped the brakes with Korra’s return to society. Ever since Korra fought Kuvira, the plot stood still.

It’s like the writers want to have no momentum for their final season. The jump kind of speaks for itself. The last three weeks of The Legend of Korra have been like hitting a wall at top speed.

Man, that had to hurt. Spoilers ahead! Let me do for you what the writers did for you:

If at first, you don’t succeed, bring your entire army, because you’re crazy. This week, The Legend of Korra takes a week off from the heartstring-tugging and brings you the prelude for the inevitable faceoff between Korra and Kuvira’s forces. Last week, Kuvira’s army was making its way into Zaofu.

So, who exactly thought it was a good idea to send kids to find the savior of the world? Spoilers Below Every so often, episodes in the Avatar series have those defining moments. For instance, there’s Aang learning Fire-bending, Team Avatar meeting Toph so Aang can learn Earth-bending, Korra losing her connection to her past lives, “The Beginning,” Toph reemerging in Legend of Korra, and Korra fighting Zaheer.
