“SOUTH PARK:STICK OF TRUTH” DELAYED AGAIN DUE TO PUBLISHER MONEY WOES

This fucking sucks, South Park: Stick of Truth which was delayed from September 2012 to March 2013 has been delayed AGAIN by its publisher THQ. According to an article on Deadline.com,  THQ  prez had this to say about the delay:

“We have been working closely with the co-creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, to make sure all of the game’s content performs to the high standards of the TV show, and this takes time,” THQ President Jason Rubin says.

I call bullshit on this, as the article has noted that THQ is pretty much up for sale and as a result is unable to pay its bills. It costs money to make games and when you can’t bake a cake without breaking a few eggs and THQ is learning this the hard way. I due think it is strange however, as Darksiders II I heard was a critically acclaimed property but I believe that style of game isn’t popular to an American audience that would rather save their hard-earned cash for Call of Duty. Me, personally I don’t like FPS’s so no CoD for me, but here is hoping the new South Park game gets a new release date sooner rather than later.
